Up here the evenings turn cold quickly, even in May, and mist can roll over a hillside lawn in minutes. The panda suit is warm, which helps, but we plan sets so the dancing happens before the chill settles and move indoors with you if the clouds arrive.
Weekend traffic on the climb is the other thing we allow for. We leave Dehradun with time to spare, so a baraat or a cake entry never waits on a queue of cars at a narrow corner, and we confirm the timing with you the day before.
