The town keeps calmer evenings than the cities around it, so we shape each set to the setting: big and loud for a college crowd on an open ground, gentler for a family sangeet where grandparents are seated at the front.
Open-air stages by the river mean sun in the afternoon and a breeze after dark. We ask where the dancers can change, check the ground is level for the costume feet, and keep music cues simple enough to work on a borrowed speaker.
